How we research and update our Sichuan guides
Read the SavorWest Journeys policy for sourcing, fact checks, updates, corrections, authorship and responsible use of AI-assisted editorial tools.

Authorship and responsibility
Guides are published under SavorWest Editorial Team. This organizational byline reflects a shared workflow for research, review and updates. The website does not assign a fictional individual author or imply that every route has been personally completed by one named writer.
Source hierarchy
- Official attraction, transport and government notices for operational facts.
- UNESCO and recognized cultural or conservation institutions for heritage context.
- Direct route-planning logic for sequencing and pacing.
- Secondary sources only when the primary source is unavailable, clearly distinguished from official information.
Changeable information
Opening hours, ticket prices, reservation windows, train schedules, road access and entry rules can change. We avoid presenting unstable details as permanent facts, link to the responsible official source and include a visible update date. Travelers should re-check operational details close to departure.
AI-assisted tools
Editorial tools may help organize drafts, compare structure or identify missing questions. They are not treated as factual sources. Claims must be checked against the cited source or removed. We do not publish scaled near-duplicate pages to target keyword variations.
Corrections
Send a correction request to savorwestjourneys@gmail.com with the page URL, the disputed statement and a supporting source. Material corrections are reviewed and the page update date is changed when warranted.
Official and authoritative sources
